In the tutorial, it's slightly different process for Mac with their newest beta 1.0.5, to search for apps you have to go to 'websites' tab, and click the Tongbu icon (the non-pineapple one), then basically the same steps except downloads show up in 'downloads' tab where you can click install. Also, it seems if I have a Tongbu app installed I cannot sync (authorization error in iTunes) but that's no problem.
When I delete the Tongbu app, I can sync fine without deleting the certificate. I assume this is normal behaviour, but figured it was worth mentioning in case anyone panics because they can't sync.
Hey man, I was having the same problem. I figured out that the antivirus program on my computer was blocking tongbu assistant from going online without my consent. I managed to fix it by adding the folder I installed tongbu in (C: Program Files (x86) Tongbu) to my antivirus exceptions list.
Give that a try, it will should work after that. M sorry, still not working on me, please someone help me, i have to disable my antivirus before and the problem isnt solved. I use eset nod32 antivirus for my pc protection.
The dialog screen appear 'cannot access the server please join our customer service qq group 291311056' when i try to click the wrench button for genuine app. And when i go to apps, for fixing crash, and notification appear 'Your device failed to fixing crash. No error when I sync with iTunes but the apps downloaded from Tongbu did not transfer to my PC. Found out that Tongbu installs a provisioning profile certicate named TBHomeDis which can be found in General Profiles. Are we safe with this certificate installed?
Is tongbu safe to use?. It's much better that 25pp imo My experience with Tongbu, I installed the app and assistant to my phone. All was well until I noticed my phone doing some funny things.
I would be web surfing in safari/checking emails and my Iphone 5 (Jailbroken 7.0.2) would randomly start clicking things on its own until I exited the application being used. Not sure if this is a hardware fault like bad LCD but I could literally sit and watch my phone operate on its own almost as if it was as being used remotely. To my surprise apparently this Tongbu app uses a profile known as TBhomeDis found in settingsGeneral at the bottom. I have restored and update from 7.0.2 to 7.0.4. Re-jailbroke 7.0.4 DID NOT INSTALL TONGBU AND STILL RECIEVED THIS PROFILE AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTED!! I have now restored twice and re-jailbroke again, getting ready to install my tweaks, again. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this any input is appreciated!
Also forgot to mention that I am having a problem with my contacts. Whenever the problem occurs, the first names of my contact list are censored out with question marks, also applies to my Instagram. Sorry if asked already. Started using Tongbu yesterday after the new jb. Appsync came out now so went to itunes to sync my old apps and says computer not authorized.
Is this normal? I remove all the tongbu apps and it syncs fine. Problem is that tongbu has all the latest versions of the apps I want and I cannot find them elsewhere. Is there a workaround for this? I recently installed Tongbu on my PC and after updating my Apps on my iPhone it would not sync to iTunes anymore.
I kept getting an error' This iPhone is not Authorised.' And if I Authorise in iTunes the same thing happens. My iPhone 4s is Jailbroken on iOS 6.1.1 I found a solution that worked for me. In iTunes DE-Authorise the computer and shut down iTunes. Plug in your iDevice (iPhone) and run Tongbu. After it finds your phone, click the 'FileSystem' button and navigate to var Keychains. There you will find a file called keychain-2.db RENAME that file to Original-keychain.db Disconnect your iPhone and restart it.
When it restarts, it will create a new keychain-2.db file in that folder. Note that now you will lose all your passwords saved and will have to also reconnect to wi-fi etc.
Plug the iphone back in and if you navigate in Tongbu you will find the new keychain-2.db file there. Start up iTunes and after it recognises your iPhone. Select it and select 'Back Up Now' button in iTunes. ITunes will start to backup and will popup a message saying that there are apps on your iPhone and do you want to transfer them?

Next it will ask you to Authorise the computer. Say yes and use your apple id and pw to authorise the computer. The backup will continue and also all the apps will be SYNCED to your computer including the Tongbu updated apps!!! After the Backup and Sync is complete, shut down iTunes and in Tongbu, navigate to the var Keychains folder and rename the new keychain-2.db. Rename keychain-2.db - NEW-keychain-2.db Rename Original-keychain.db - keychain-2.db Reboot your iPhone and all the old passwords and settings will be restored. You may have to do this every time you want to sync/backup because Tongbu puts something in the original keychain-2.db that blocks iTunes from syncing. All you need to do next time: Rename keychain-2.db - Original-keychain-2.db Rename New-keychain.db - keychain-2.db and do the sync/backup and after done rename them back as above.

No need to reboot after you do this and reboot after the first time. Rebooting just creates the new clean keychain-2,db. Hope this helps as this bugged me for a while as I was in a Authorise loop with iTunes.
